SubwayFront Street, Consett
Welcome to **SubwayFront Street, Consett**, a casual dining destination nestled in the heart of Consett at Subway 11 Front Street, DH8 5AF. This establishment, a part of the globally renowned Subway chain, offers a unique fusion of health-conscious dining and fast service, making it a staple for locals and visitors alike.
As I stepped into SubwayFront Street, Consett, I was immediately struck by the vibrant atmosphere and the tantalizing aroma of freshly baked bread. With a menu focused on customizable sandwiches and salads, it’s a paradise for anyone seeking to tailor their meal to fit their specific cravings and dietary needs.
However, it's essential to approach dining here with a realistic mindset based on recent reviews. While the idea of a fresh, made-to-order sandwich is appealing, feedback from customers has highlighted some inconsistencies in service and food preparation.
- Service Issues: Some patrons, like Ellie Ramsey, have reported negative experiences regarding food delivery and customer service. Instances of rude interactions and incorrect orders have mixed with the charm of the venue, posing a challenge for potential diners.
- Food Quality: Feedback has also pointed to concerns about food appearance and freshness. Customers like Daniel Carter have mentioned issues with stale bread and disorganized food prep.
- Busy Times: During peak hours, like lunchtime, service may lag. Burebista Dacul's review highlights a lack of staff during busy times, suggesting that customers might want to plan their visits accordingly.
Despite the criticisms, SubwayFront Street, Consett holds a promise of potential. The Ballygowan Still Water priced at £1.99 stands as a refreshing companion to any meal here. While there is room for improvement in both food consistency and customer service, the core appeal of crafting your sandwich should not be overlooked.
In conclusion, while SubwayFront Street, Consett has its share of customer service challenges and food quality concerns, it remains a beloved local option due to its customizable menu and inviting atmosphere. Hopefully, management takes note of customer feedback to elevate the dining experience to match the fresh promise of its fare. If you visit, keep an open mind and perhaps a bit of patience as you discover your next favorite sandwich.

Uber driver extremely rude practically threw the food at my partner after banging on the door really loudly which was unnecessary, waking up our newborn day old baby. to then find our both of our salad boxes had been made incorrectly and both salad boxes were missing some ingredients we had selected and we were missing our large bottle of Pepsi. Would not recommend ordering from here if it’s for delivery!

Opens late without cause, for example th June when the store opened at am not am,Between mid and end of moth service is terrible, which they claim to pass very well.Food looks disgusting, and they claim it is prepared 'up to' times a day and is labelled correctly, so why have I seen a young lady on a night changing those labels?Bread is stale, but they claim it is checked every hour. But despite this their 'External and Internal Checks' which they pass 'regularly', I think not as the last service I got after the late opening incident was just depriving to the Subway franchise the food looked rancid and stale bread, has put me off ever using the Subway brand ever.To pass the checks I think there is some funny business going on to pass them.the franchisee quoted 'Correct Procedure' to call a google user a liar, which must make them feel like a really big person. They have asked google to monitor and remove and reviews that give a 'False Impression' of the store, which are true impressions. This Franchise chain has reportedly (including this store) over charged for products very regularly, this information was leaked from 'Metro ' store.Any employee will remain nameless to protect them for doing a good deed.Well sound like they are hiding something, considering they have removed their comments. One final comment, How does the Owner and Store manager sleep at night with all this in mind?
